Work Schedule
- Shift Start Time: 6:30 AM
- Shift Length: 9-hour shifts (Monday - Friday)
- Possible Extended Shifts: Occasionally 11-hour shifts and 24-hour call shifts
- 24-Hour Call: Supervisory, not hands-on. Backup call MD available
Work Details
- Support Staff: 9 MDs onsite, primarily directing CRNAs, but hands-on work may be required
- Coverage Needed: 20 shifts per month
- Average Cases: One delivery and three hours of cases after 7:00 PM
- Patient Population: 90% adult, 10% pediatric
- EMR System: Cerner
- Special Procedures: Basic ortho blocks, with potential for expansion; must be comfortable with General, Cardiac, OB, and Peds cases
Requirements
- Board Certification: BC / BE
- Pennsylvania State License - **WILLING TO LICENSE
- DEA Registration
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Experience: Minimum 1 year
Skills Preferred
- General Anesthesiology Skills: Required; experience in major adult subspecialties including General, Cardiac, OB, and Neuro is essential.
