Work Schedule

• Shift Start Time: 6:30 AM
• Shift Length: 9-hour shifts (Monday - Friday)
• Possible Extended Shifts: Occasionally 11-hour shifts and 24-hour call shifts
• 24-Hour Call: Supervisory, not hands-on. Backup call MD available
  

Work Details

• Support Staff: 9 MDs onsite, primarily directing CRNAs, but hands-on work may be required
• Coverage Needed: 20 shifts per month
• Average Cases: One delivery and three hours of cases after 7:00 PM
• Patient Population: 90% adult, 10% pediatric
• EMR System: Cerner
• Special Procedures: Basic ortho blocks, with potential for expansion; must be comfortable with General, Cardiac, OB, and Peds cases

Requirements

• Board Certification: BC / BE
• Pennsylvania State License - **WILLING TO LICENSE
• DEA Registration
  
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Experience: Minimum 1 year

Skills Preferred

• General Anesthesiology Skills: Required; experience in major adult subspecialties including General, Cardiac, OB, and Neuro is essential.
