Physicians and CRNAs work within a highly collaborative environment of mutual respect and dedication to patient care. The supervision model is a max 4:1 ratio. This is a hospital employed W-2 position.

Job Responsibilities

Wide array of case mix to include General, Orthopedic, OB/GYN, Neuro, Vascular, and Trauma. Cardiac is a plus but not mandatory (additional pay for cardiac experience). No complex pediatrics, burns, or transplants.

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
  • Successful completion of an ACGME accredited anesthesiology residency program.
  • Board certification through the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or the American Osteopathic - Board of Anesthesiology (AOBA) or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment.
  • Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SARMC and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed, valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
Working Hours

MDs are expected to be scheduled for 2,060 hours annually to maintain 1.0 FTE status.
