Position Overview:

Facility is seeking a Board Certified Anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage due to a staffing shortage. This position involves working in a hospital setting performing independent anesthesia cases with a backup anesthesiologist on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm.

  • 8-hour shifts are also available.

• Case Load:

  • The facility performs 3,600 IP/OP surgeries per year.

  • Required procedures include Ortho, Spine, Gynecology, Urology, and gastric bypass. Minimal vascular cases. No pediatric cases.

• Support Staff:

  • Anesthesia providers, CRNA, and Anesthesia Tech.

Qualifications:

• Certification:

  • Board Certified - Required.

  • ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA - Required.

• Licensing:

  • Active Nebraska License - Required.

  • Fellowship - Required.

• Experience: Clean malpractice history is preferred.

• Availability: Must be available at the time of name clear.

Credentialing Information:

• Timeframe: Within 60 days.

• Credentialing with Other Facilities: Yes, Nebraska Spine Hospital.
