Work Schedule: 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off (Including Nights & Weekends)

  • Part-time option available with a 1 Week On schedule.

Overview:

A healthcare facility in the Murfreesboro, NC area is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Anesthesiologist to join their team as an independent contractor. The role involves providing anesthesia services in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a focus on a variety of surgical cases, including General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and OB/GYN. The position offers flexibility with a work schedule of two weeks on and two weeks off.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Duties: Provide anesthesia care for a wide range of surgical procedures, including general anesthesia, blocks, and labor epidurals.
  • Case Management: Manage approximately 180 surgical cases per month, ensuring safe and effective anesthesia care.
  • CRNA Supervision: Oversee and collaborate with a team of experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).
  • Shared Call: Participate in a shared call rotation to ensure continuous coverage, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certification: Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
  • Licensure: Must have or be willing to obtain a medical license in the state of North Carolina.
  • Experience: Experience in managing a variety of surgical cases, including general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and OB/GYN, is preferred.
