Orlando Health is seeking a BE/BC Anesthesiologist to join our Ambulatory Anesthesiology team for our multispecialty ASCs. Join a collaborative team of anesthesiologists and advanced practice anesthesia providers in delivering exceptional patient experience with safe, up to date care, while being a catalyst to expand the organization's mission and achieve its vision. The case mix ranges from Colorectal, GI, Bariatrics, Plastics, Adult & Peds ENT, Urology, Spine, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, Ortho etc.
Essential Functions
- Collaborative member of anesthesiology department to work with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals
- Evaluate and formulate anesthetic plan for patients undergoing surgical and/or diagnostic care
- Supervision/Medical Direction of certified anesthetists delivering anesthesia
- Personally administer anesthesia intraoperatively with continuous monitoring of vital signs and titration of anesthesia needed
Other Related Functions
- Schedule: MONDAY - FRIDAY ONLY
- No Call, nights, weekends or holidays.
- Maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Maintain compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures
- Attends and participates in departmental meetings and educational initiatives
- Teach student anesthetists, residents, fellows or other learners
Role Requirements
- Anesthesiologists must be either an M.D. or D.O. with the completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Anesthesiology Residency program.
- Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology
- Anesthesiologist must complete and meet hospital credentialing requirements.
- Must hold or be able to obtain active Florida medical license prior to start
- Not a J-1 sponsored position.

- Private practice and ASC experience preferred.
