Seeking a BE/BC Critical Care Anesthesiologist to join team in Tyler, TX. You will have a wide variety of post-operative cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical patients.
Hospital #1
- Teaching responsibilities may include participation on service with internal medicine residents and family medicine residents and eventually anesthesia residents and medical students.
- We anticipate our anesthesia residency training program to begin June 2024.
- Research is not necessary, but the opportunity is available to clinical faculty.
Hospital #1
- 501 bed, level I trauma center, tertiary hospital, 74-bed ICU capacity
- Medical staff of more than 600 physicians including a full complement of subspecialty physicians
- The ICU is fortunate to have a full-time staff of dedicated critical care PAs.
- Point-of-care ultrasound is utilized, as well as other state of the art critical care skills.
- Medical/surgical, neurologic, cardiac and trauma ICUs
- Dedicated stroke center
- Interventional and neuro-interventional radiology
- Ion robot for bronchoscopy, navigational bronchoscopy and EBUS
- North Campus pulmonary clinic has associated infusion center
- 14-bed ICU, level IV trauma center, 24-hour emergency department
- Advanced cancer treatment
- Behavioral health services including outpatient care for ages 3-adult and inpatient adult and geriatric programs
- Biomedical Research conducted at UT Health Science Center is nationally recognized
