Seeking BE/BC Critical Care Anesthesiologist to join Faculty staff in Tyler, Texas
Overview:
- Participation on service with internal medicine residents and family medicine residents
- Eventual involvement with anesthesia residents and medical students
- Anticipated start of anesthesia residency training program in June 2024
- 501 bed, level I trauma center, tertiary hospital, 74-bed ICU capacity
- Medical staff of more than 600 physicians, including a full complement of subspecialty physicians
- Full-time staff of dedicated critical care PAs in the ICU
- Utilization of point-of-care ultrasound and other state-of-the-art critical care skills
- Medical/surgical, neurologic, cardiac, and trauma ICUs
- Dedicated stroke center
- Interventional and neuro-interventional radiology
- Ion robot for bronchoscopy, navigational bronchoscopy, and EBUS
- North Campus pulmonary clinic with associated infusion center
- Exposure to a wide variety of post-operative cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical patients
