St. Joseph’s Health, Syracuse, NY is seeking to Anesthesiologists to join our robust team of highly experienced providers.

Job Description:
  • Full-time, 2100 hours annually
  • This position requires coverage in the hospital operating rooms, endoscopy unit, cardiac lab, and ambulatory surgery center.
  • Supervision of CRNAs
  • Vascular, orthopedics, spine, general surgery, urology, obstetrics, gynecology, and cardiac cases
  • Minimal pediatrics, mostly at ASC - Adult, Geriatric, and 16+
  • Scrub techs, RN circulators, Anesthesia techs on site
  • 15 Main ORs, 4 ASC
  • Trauma Level 2

Compensation and Benefits:
  • $575,000 for call-taking position
  • $25,000 additional stipend for Cardiac Anesthesia
  • $125,000 sign-on bonus
  • Retention stipend for the first 2 years
  • Premium Pay and Excess Call Pay available

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
  • Board Certified in Anesthesiology
  • Board Eligible (with plans to test) or Board Certified in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine
  • Board Eligible (with plans to test) or Board Certified in Cardiac Anesthesiology (additional $25K stipend available)
  • NY license (or willing to obtain)
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS (by time of start)
  • DEA Verbal Confirmation (by time of start)
  • COVID-vaccinated
