The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is seeking highly talented anesthesiologists to provide general anesthesia, critical care medicine (CCM), and cardiac anesthesia care at UPMC Presbyterian hospital. A qualified anesthesiologist will be dually fellowship-trained in both cardiac anesthesiology and critical care medicine, be ABA board-eligible or certified, and qualify for an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license.


  • General/CCM/cardiac position
  • Schedule: daylight coverage M-F / 6:30a– 3:30p / 6:30a - 5:30p / 6:30a - 7:30p
  • Call: in-house: 7p-7:30a / beeper call: 7p - 7a
  • CRNA supervision, 2.75:1 concurrency target
  • Hospital has 51 anesthesiologists and 87 CRNAs
