The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is seeking highly talented pediatric anesthesiologists to provide anesthesia care at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology, be fellowship-trained in pediatric anesthesiology, and possess or qualify for an unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.


  • Pediatric/acute pain/liver transplant/cardiac position
  • Schedule: daylight coverage, M-F 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM; M-F 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Call: in-house: 5p-7:30a; beeper call: 6p-7a
  • CRNA supervision, 2:1 concurrency target
  • Hospital has 36 anesthesiologists and 29 CRNAs
