As an Anesthesiologist at Aspire Medical Staffing, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing surgical procedures.

You will be responsible for evaluating patients prior to surgery, creating an individualized anesthesia plan, and administering anesthesia during surgical procedures. Your expertise in managing pain, monitoring vital signs, and responding to emergencies will be essential in providing high-quality care.

Requirements

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an anesthesiology residency program
  • Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in any state in the USA
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques, equipment, and drugs
  • Ability to assess and manage patients' pain and vital signs during surgery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Experience with different types of anesthesia (general, regional, sedation)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with surgeons and other healthcare professionals
  • Willingness to participate in on-call duties and respond to emergencies


Duties:

  • Evaluate patients' medical history and physical condition prior to surgery
  • Create and implement an anesthesia plan tailored to individual patients
  • Administer anesthesia, monitor patients' vital signs, and maintain their comfort and safety throughout surgery
  • Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care as needed
  • Coordinate and communicate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals involved in the surgical team
  • Document patient information accurately and timely
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
