HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking a BC/BE General Anesthesiologist to join the cohesive and supportive team at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. This Level I Trauma Center has proudly been serving Central VA for over 50 years and is committed to providing the highest quality patient care with compassion and leading edge expertise.Opportunity Highlights/Qualified Candidates:
- Care Team Model of 9 General Anesthesiologists, 4 CV Anesthesiologists and 29 CRNAs covering 20 sites of service.
- Diverse mix of cases including Trauma, Vascular, Thoracic, OB, General, Orthopedics, Urology, GYN, GI and Pediatrics.
- Annual surgical volume 18,000 cases. 500 labor epidurals on average.
- Average work week 40-45 hours in house.
- Call shifts are split equally amongst the team (in-house, no “home call”):
- Primary Night Trauma call is in-house from 6p-7a on weekdays and 7a-7a on Weekends and weekday holidays. Post call day off.
- Calls picked up beyond contracted numbers garner additional compensation.
