ANESTHESIOLOGIST - GENERAL

Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital (formerly Einstein Medical Center Montgomery) offers a full range of medical care and surgical interventions including cardiac services, cancer care, orthopedic services, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, and family-centered maternity care, delivered by a highly skilled medical team. Located on 87 acres along Germantown Pike in East Norriton, PA, Jefferson Einstein Montgomery brings the exceptional experience of Jefferson Einstein Montgomery to residents of central Montgomery County. The hospital continues to be a training site for Jefferson residents and fellows. We are seeking to add an Anesthesiologist to our 175-bed state-of-the-art facility. General positions available; New graduates welcomed and supported.

THE POSITION:

  • Join 6 anesthesiologists and 19 CRNA on site as well as an integrated anesthesia department of 29 physicians and 40+ CRNAs
  • Provide anesthesia for cases including orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, plastic surgery, urology in hospital and ambulatory settings.
  • Support ~5000 cases across hospital OR / ASC / endoscopy center
  • 5 operating rooms / EPS / IR / GI / OB / ASC / endoscopy
  • No trauma or transplants or cardiac / very minimal pediatrics and neurosurgery
  • Weekday shifts usually 7a-3p; overtime hours after 4pm
  • Weekday call starts at 7pm; call day off or paid OT if you come in early.
  • Call is in-house 1:8 with post call day always off
  • Salary based on 40 hour work week including weekend shifts - extra hours result in extra pay.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • MD or DO From an Accredited Program - Required
  • Completion of an Accredited Anesthesiology Residency – Required
  • Appropriate Licenses and Certifications - Required
