Federal (Indian Health Service) anesthesia contract assignment in northern Arizona for Navajo Nation:
- You do not need an Arizona license as this is a government hospital
- Low-volume assignment (the hospital is 60 beds)
- Paid travel/lodging
- Board Certification is not required
- Overview: 3-5 cases per day on average: bread and butter cases, gallbladders, appendectomies, dental, colonoscopies, endoscopies, intubations in the difference units (ICU, ER, RT). Also do OB and occasional trauma.

Any active state license (do not need an Arizona license to work here)
Unrestricted DEA
ACLS, BLS, PALS
Working Hours
Tour of Duty: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with a 30 minute lunch break, Monday through Friday, Forty (40) per week, On-call: weeknight and weekend call split among staff
