Job Title: Anesthesiologist
Location: Endoscopy Center, Guilford, Connecticut
Salary: $330,000 FT W2 (1099 negotiable)
Work Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Care-team model)

Job Brief:

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team at a leading Endoscopy Center in Guilford, Connecticut. This role involves working in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with modern technology, where patient safety and comfort are our top priorities.

About Our Center:

Our outpatient ambulatory center offers Connecticut residents convenient access to high-quality care. The entire staff is committed to meeting all care needs and expectations. The Endoscopy Center is licensed by the State of Connecticut Department of Health, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare (AAAHC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive pre-operative evaluations of patients, including medical history and test reviews.
  • Develop and administer patient-specific anesthesia plans for endoscopic procedures.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition during procedures, managing complications effectively.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for seamless perioperative care.
  • Manage post-operative patient care, including pain management and recovery monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in the Epic EMR system.
  • Engage in continuous professional development in anesthesiology.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology.
  • Valid medical license in Connecticut.
  • Experience in anesthesiology, preferably in an endoscopy setting.
  • Proficient with EMR systems, preferably Epic.
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic medical environment.

Education and Experience:

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of residency in Anesthesiology.
  • Additional fellowship or training in areas relevant to outpatient or endoscopic anesthesia is advantageous.
  • Experience in an outpatient surgical setting is preferred.
