Job Description
ECU Health Duplin Hospital, located in Kenansville, North Carolina, is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Anesthesiologist to join their surgical services team. The successful candidate will work as an independent contractor.
With close proximity to Wilmington, North Carolina combined with a 1 week on/1 week off schedule, this opportunity lends itself to an excellent work-life balance.
Job Highlights include:
- Hospital privileges at ECU Health Duplin Hospital
- 1099 position
- Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities
- Shared Call, with CRNA’s as First Call
- Supervision of experienced CRNA’s
- 7 on 7 off schedule, inclusive of nights/weekends
- General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, OB/GYN, Endoscopy cases, Healthy Pediatrics, and Pediatric Dental procedures (pediatrics > age 2)
- 175 surgical cases per month
- Procedures will include general anesthesia and blocks
- Malpractice coverage provided including tail coverage
- Short commute from Wilmington, NC and Raleigh, NC

ECU Health Duplin Hospital is an 81-bed hospital located in Kenansville. The renovated, 15-bed emergency department serves approximately 27,000 patients per year. In addition to providing general medical and surgical services, ECU Health Duplin offers chemotherapy and other cancer infusion interventions and has earned national designation as a Primary Stroke Center.
