Adventist Health Portland is seeking mission minded Anesthesiologists to join a collegial group on the East side of Portland, Oregon.

The ideal candidate is a board certified/eligible Anesthesiologist who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, thrives in a flexible work environment, works well independently and can effectively prioritize their time.

Both newly trained and experienced physicians with a collaborative approach to medicine will be considered.

Position Highlights

  • Busy OR with a case mix that includes:
    • General, Ortho, Spine, Open and Endovascular, Thoracic, Urology, Endoscopy, Cath Lab EP, Interventional Radiology, GYN, OB, Bariatrics, Robotics, Ophthalmology, Plastic Surgery
  • Rare Pediatric or ENT
  • No Trauma, No Hearts, No Intracranial Neuro
  • Weekday Call frequency - 2 -3 weeknights per month and will always have post call day off. Weekend Call - 1 in 5-6 weekends - will become fewer as we hire and expand
  • Minimal CRNA Supervision

Compensation 1.0 FTE

  • Base salary: $580,000/year
  • 50 hour work week average
  • 10 weeks of paid time off
  • $100,000 starting bonus

Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible, be Oregon licensed or eligible and meet the hospital's medical staff credentialing standards. This is not a J-1 eligible opportunity.
