What's in Store for You:
- Diverse Cases: Ortho, GI, general, OB, GYN, urology, vascular, neuro, ophthalmology, thoracic, cardiac, some trauma, but no peds.
- OR Setup: Plenty of action with multiple OR suites and a dedicated Endo room.
- Call Duty: Yes, it's part of the gig, but it's structured to keep your work-life balance in check. It will not be more than 12 weekdays and 9 weekends in a six months period without written permission from YOU.
- Hospital Highlights: This isn't just any hospital. It's a non-profit hub, renowned for top-notch care in cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, and more.
- Team Dynamics: You'll be part of a collaborative anesthesia team, supervising CRNAs who bring their A-game. They do spinals and a-lines, and you'll do mostly regional and epidurals with a sprinkle of cardiac. The current docs have a great relationship with CRNAs and are sometimes open to the CRNAs doing regional and epidurals as well.
