**Anesthesiology opening - Coudersport, PA**

**Position Details**
- Full-time, permanent
- Hospital Employed
- Four (4) operating room suites, an endoscopy lab, and a minor procedure room.
- The 5,500 surgical procedures performed annually are derived from orthopedics, general surgery, ENT, pain management, OB/GYN, podiatry, urology, and gastroenterology.
- EMR system: EPIC
- Joining a team of 2 anesthesiologists and 4 CRNAs.
- Call is 1:3.
- Administration of anesthesia and anesthesia-related care in four general categories: (1) pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation; (2) anesthesia induction, maintenance, and emergence, (3) post-anesthesia care; and (4) peri-anesthesia clinical support functions.
- Perform responsibilities according to established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Review appropriate documentation for informed consent and identify the appropriate surgical site with operating room staff and surgeon in accordance with departmental and regulatory compliance standards.
**Additional Details**
- 25-bed critical access hospital located on a large, well-maintained campus with a service area covering 55,000 people living in six counties in North Central Pennsylvania and Western New York.
- Group owns and operates eleven primary care and eighteen specialty medical practices in Coudersport and the counties surrounding the hospital.
- Modern facility located on a large, well-maintained campus and represents the majority of medical and surgical specialties.
- The hospital is equipped with operating rooms, ten obstetrics suites, a six-bed ICU, ten-bed emergency department, and a 44-bed long-term care facility.
- Due to its remote location, the hospital has transfer arrangements with multiple facilities within a 20-minute helicopter flight.
