The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is seeking highly talented anesthesiologists to provide anesthesia care at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology and possess or qualify for an unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

· General position; opportunities in acute pain as well as liver transplant, cardiac, and general anesthesiology are available for candidates with fellowship training or substantial experience in these subspecialties.


  • Schedule: daylight coverage M-F / 6:30a– 3:30p / 6:30a - 5:30p / 6:30a - 7:30p
  • Call: in-house: 7p-7:30a / beeper call: 7p - 7a
  • CRNA supervision, 2.75:1 concurrency target
  • Hospital has 51 anesthesiologists and 87 CRNAs
