* Case Mix: Cardiac, major vascular, orthopedics, obstetrics, neurosurgery, general surgery, urology, and gynecology. Minimal pediatric- mainly at ASC. No transplants. No trauma._x000D_
* 1 in-house Anesthesiologist and 1 beeper-call as backup._x000D_
* Regional non-profit healthcare system based in Syracuse, NY. Hospital offers primary, specialty, and home care, and collaboration with community partners._x000D_

**Responsibilities**_x000D_
_x000D_
* Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department_x000D_
* Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures_x000D_
* Pre-anesthesia assessment_x000D_
* Obtains and/or verifies patient consent_x000D_
* Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia_x000D_
* Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition_x000D_
* Performance of clinical intervention as needed_x000D_

* M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine_x000D_
* ECFMG and FLEX_x000D_
* Completion of approved residency in anesthesia_x000D_
* Currently licensed as a physician_x000D_

**Compensation Details**_x000D_

* General Call-taking Anesthesiologist: $525K with 8 weeks of PTO_x000D_
* Cardiac Anesthesiologist: Base of $525k plus $25k specialty stipend_x000D_
* Per-Diem Anesthesiologist: $250/hour_x000D_
* 1099 Anesthesiologist: $275/hour _x000D_
