Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Pediatric Anesthesiologist position at San Diego, CA, paying $340/hour - $360/hour.

Position Overview
- Specialty: Pediatric Anesthesiology
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (extension possible)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (potential extension to 5:00 PM)

Facility Details
- Type: Level I Trauma
- Location: San Diego, CA
- Hospital Size: 511 beds
- Technology: Advanced pediatric surgical facilities, including operating rooms, outpatient surgery suites, cardiac catheterization suite, invasive radiology suite, oncology procedure suite, and more.
- Patient Population: Pediatric patients, including those undergoing major surgical procedures, CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine exams. Services also extend to proton therapy and Sharp Rees-Stealy patients.
Work Requirements
- Patients: Pediatric patients requiring major surgical procedures, cardiac anesthesia (excluding pediatric cardiac team), and other specialized services.
- Licensure: Must have an active California state license.
- Experience: Board Certification in Anesthesiology required. Extensive pediatric anesthesiology experience preferred, particularly in high-acuity settings.
- Flu Vaccination: Required (No exemptions).
- COVID-19: Not required.

- Credentialing Timeframe: Emergency privileges take 2 weeks; full privileges take 2 months.
- Travel/Lodging: Provided
