Position Overview:

We are seeking a Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our expanding team in Pennsylvania. The role involves providing anesthesiology services for both pediatric (75%) and adult (25%) patients. The physician will handle solo cases and provide medical direction for CRNAs. This position offers flexible weekday scheduling with potential for weekend and overnight pager call.

Job Details:

• Need someone to cover weekdays, night call, and 24 hour beeper call on weekends.
• Shifts: Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM (flexible to 8-hour shifts if preferred)
• On-Call: Pager call 5 PM - 7 AM for pediatrics only, with 24-hour weekend call available
• Estimated Shifts/Month: 15
  

• Pediatric Cases: NICU (no cardiac cases), orthopedic (no spine), ENT, general surgery, GI, MRI, and dental cases.
• Adult Cases: General anesthesiology as needed to meet daily schedule requirements

Provider Requirements:

• Board Certification: Required in Pediatric Anesthesiology
• Fellowship: Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship required
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year
• Licensure: Active Pennsylvania medical license
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS
• DEA License: Required
• Requirements Notes: Must be willing to provide anesthesia for infants, children, and adults.
