- Opportunity to teach students and residents serving a patient population primarily composed of an underserved community_x000D_
- Location is University affiliated teaching facility, with ACS verified and State designated Level 1 Adult Trauma, Level 2 Pediatric Trauma, and ABA verified Burn Center in the metropolitan Phoenix area_x000D_

- The clinical practice includes L&D, neonatal and general pediatric surgery, general surgery, robotic surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, burn, level I trauma, orthopedics, podiatric surgery, and special procedures outside the OR_x000D_
- TEE equipment is available to our anesthesiologists for perioperative and critical care patients_x000D_
- About 11,000 anesthesia encounters generated per year_x000D_
- In-house call is 4-5 times per month_x000D_
- Position requires flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work with high acuity adult and pediatric patients while supervising and teaching emergency medicine and surgery residents, CRNAs, student nurse anesthetist, and medical students_x000D_
- This teaching exposure creates opportunity for our physicians to apply to our university affiliations for academic appointment_x000D_
