Texas Children’s Hospital – Houston Texas, seeks an experienced physician with a proven clinical
track record to serve as an attending Pediatric Anesthesiologist

The Department of Anesthesiology at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas is seeking an
exceptional provider to serve as a Pediatric Anesthesiologist, within our highly respected Department of
Anesthesiology.

Job Responsibilities

Join our nationally recognized team of pediatric specialists as we seek to hire a full-time clinical
Pediatric Anesthesiologist (Assistant Professor) to provide care across our Houston, Texas
location(s):

• Provide surgical anesthesia for all types of routine pediatric surgery including outpatient ear, nose
and throat procedures and general surgery cases.
• Opportunity to join the largest Pediatric Anesthesiology group in the country, while practicing at the
largest Pediatric hospital in the nation.
• Consultation with surgeons and pediatricians.
• Pre-admission anesthetic evaluation and testing, including preoperative instructions and tours for
children and their families.
• Anesthesia management for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including cardiac
catheterization and minor hematology/oncology procedures.
• The Anesthesiologist may provide anesthesia services for OB Anesthesiology.

Qualifications

• Candidates of all experience levels are encouraged to apply.
• An academic record consistent with appointment as an assistant level or associate professor is
desired given TCH’s affiliation with Baylor. However, this is NOT required for this position.
• Applicants must have a Medical School Degree, Residency in Anesthesiology, Fellowship in
Pediatric Anesthesiology.
• The ideal candidate will be BC/BE in anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology.
• The selected candidate for the position must be eligible to obtain or already hold an active Texas
medical license.
