Nurses Etc. Staffing is working with the government to provide Anesthesiologist - Pain Medicine MD/DO to join our team at Camp Pendleton, CA.

Job Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive medical and advanced interventional pain treatments to patients with complex pain conditions including consultation, management, monitoring, evaluation, and treatment.
• Participate in an on-site designated Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes (ECHO) tele mentoring training program.
• Participate in tele-mentoring, tele-medicine, and tele-consults.
• Participate in quarterly chart reviews for oversight in documentation compliance.
• Adhere to the established clinical practice guidelines for the safe and appropriate use of opioid therapies.
• Participate in the Long-Term Opioid Therapy Committee meetings and educational outreach programs as outlined by the NHCP, Pain Division Director
Qualifications
□ Education: Graduate from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada. This degree must have been accredited by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association; Association of American Medical Colleges; Liaison Committee on Medical Education; Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation of the American Osteopathic Association, or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) at the time the degree was obtained (e.g. Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC), College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC). A Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from a foreign medical school must provide education and medical knowledge substantially equivalent to accredited schools in the United States. Evidence of equivalency to accredited schools in the United States is demonstrated by permanent certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates, a fifth pathway certificate for Americans who completed premedical education in the United States and graduate education in a foreign country, or successful completion of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination.
Position Qualification/Requirements:
• Experience: Possess two years of clinical work experience within the preceding five years as a Pain Management subspecialist providing interventional and pharmacologic services to patients with complex pain conditions.
• Certification: Possess and maintain a current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Board Certification: Possess and maintain a current unrestricted Board Certification in Pain Medicine from the American Board of Anesthesiology or the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation accredited by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS)
• Licensure/Registration: None
