Overview
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting a Cardiac Anesthesiologist to provide onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System Margaret Cochran Corbin VA Campus located at 423 E 23rd St New York, NY 10010. Schedule is typically Monday-Tuesday clinic days, and the rest is all on-call.
1099 Position pays: $728/k plus signing/relocation bonus

Responsibilities
- Plan and administer anesthesia care for patients with all cardiac anesthesia classifications.
- Provision of pain relief and maintenance or restoration, of a stable condition during and immediately following a surgical procedure or an obstetric or diagnostic procedure.
- Assess risk of the patient undergoing surgery and optimize the condition of the patient prior to, during, and after surgery.
- Assessment of, consultation for, and preparation of patients for anesthesia including performance of history and physical examination.
- Medical management of patients during the peri-operative period who are under physical and emotional stress.
- Management of post anesthetic recovery including procedural pain.
- Obtain informed consent in conformance with organization policies and procedures.
- Supervise and administer general and regional anesthesia.
- Insertion of temporary pacemaker for life-threatening arrhythmias.
- Provides direction and clinical oversight related to the medical practice of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA’s).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- At least three years of cardiac anesthesia/TAVR experience is preferred
- Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
- NPI report printout
- Active DEA license
- Must be able to pass a federal background investigation
