Position Information:

Current Need: We are seeking a Full-Time Cardiovascular Anesthesiologist to join our team starting on August 1, 2024. While we prefer experienced candidates, we are open to considering recent graduates.

Duration: This is a 6-month position with the possibility of extension.

Requirements:

• Licensing: Candidates must hold a current NC license.
• Board Certification: Candidates should be Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Anesthesiology.
• TEE Certification: Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) certification is required.

Work Details:

• Average Number of Cases per Day: 10-15
• Shifts: 8-10 hour shifts with no call and no weekend requirements.

Support Staff:

• Team Composition: The team operates under a care team model with a typical ratio of 1 MD to 3 or 4 CRNAs.
• Supervision: The role is primarily supervisory, but MDs may work their own cases if necessary.

Technology:

• Practice EMR: The practice utilizes Cerner and Anesthesia Information Management System (AIMS).
