The South Texas VA is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Allergist/Clinical Immunologist (MD/DO) to join our dynamic team in San Antonio, Texas. This is a full-time, permanent position within the section of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Audie Murphy VA Hospital, offering the opportunity to provide high-quality direct patient care to our nation's heroes.

Job Responsibilities
• Diagnostic workup, treatment, and follow-up of patients with allergic and immunologic disorders.
• Participation in educational programs of A/I, Pulmonary and Internal Medicine.
• Participation in quality assurance programs and chart reviews.
• Didactic and bedside teaching.
• Supervision of medical students, residents and1 Pulmonary Clinic fellows.
• Opportunities for active participation in the conduct of clinical trials and other scholarly activities.
• Adherence to quality measures and Standards.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records and timely, thorough documentation.
• Telemedicine experience.
Qualifications
• MD/DO degree.
• Allergy/Clinical Immunology Fellowship in an ACGME accredited training program.
• Minimum of 2 years post-fellowship practice experience.
• ABAI Board eligibility/certification in Allergy/Clinical Immunology.
• At least 1 year experience in telemedicine.
