**Locums Neonatology NP openings in Hershey, PA**
* Dates: July 2024 - ongoing
* Rates: let us know!
* Level IV high acuity NICU
* Need 4-5 NNPs who can also do ground and air (helicopter) transport
**Shifts:**
During the day there are 2 teams that consist of an attending MD, 2 fellows, 2 APPs and 1-2 residents. Day shift Monday through Fridays we try to run with 6 APPs. At nights and on weekends there is an attending MD and 2 APPs (which could be any combination using fellows and APPs). During the day on the weekend we have a 3rd APP on from 7am - 5pm and an extra set of hands.
* Monday - Friday, 7am - 5pm
* Monday - Friday, 4pm - 8am
* Saturday & Sunday, 7am - 7pm
* Saturday & Sunday, 7pm - 7am
Can work a 24 hour shift if wanted, but must have 1 full day off before returning to clinical duty (part of provider fatigue policy).
**Requirements**
* PA License
* Board Certification
* Clean history
* Attend High-Risk Deliveries, Vent Management, Resuscitation, Stabilization, Cooling, rounding, admits and discharges
* Procedures: PICC/UVC/UAC Lines, Chest Tubes, Lumbar Punctures, Intubations
* Be able to go out on either ground or air (helicopter) transport
* On transport there is a Life Lion paramedic, Life Lion RN, respiratory therapy, and an APP that make up the transport team (If the patient is stable on room air, respiratory doesn't go along)
* Take an online training class and once completed an in person training session at Life Lion (every APP that goes out on transport must complete this training)
