Neonatal NP opening in Pennsylvania Located in DuBois, PA - Pittsburgh 100m Full Time; Permanent POSITION DETAILS: - 16-bed, Level IIIB NICU - Negotiable schedule, could be utilized as an additional income opportunity - Diagnose and provide comprehensive management of acute and chronic conditions of high-risk neonatal patients - Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests - Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies - Communicate with the families of neonates, providing information on the condition and plan for their baby in a compassionate manner - Write daily progress notes and function to the equivalent of a resident physician - Attend high-risk deliveries, consults, ER consults, all NICU patients, and admissions of greater than or equal to 34 weeks (Neonatologist will assist with complicated cases and situations above NNP comfort level) - Support education of NICU staff - Occasional high-risk transport, nursery consults, and/or newborn assessments while in house (may be negotiable) BENEFITS/INCENTIVES: - Competitive Compensation - Health, Vision, Dental Insurance - 403(b) Retirement Plan with Employer Match - Paid Time Off and Sick Time - Yearly CME Allowance - Excellent Benefit package DuBois, PA, is a welcoming community with a population of approximately 7,000 residents, offering a blend of small-town charm and modern amenities.
