**Position: Physician Assistant - Orthopedic Surgical Team**
**Location:** Schenectady, NY
**Opportunity Details:**
- Full-time position with varying shifts totaling 80 hours per pay period.
- Potential for transition to in-house and on-call shifts.
- Shift differentials for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Weekend and holiday coverage shared with a group of four other full-time Ortho PAs.
- Potential for cross-coverage across St. Peter's Health Partners after training.
- Responsibilities include pre/post-op patient orders, floor rounding, inpatient hospital management, evaluating fractures/dislocations, interpreting imaging, performing H+P exams, ordering/interpreting labs/tests, evaluating inpatient Ortho consults, and assisting in the OR.
**Requirements:**
- NYS licensure and DEA required.
- Graduation from an AMA approved program, Board Certification.
- One to two years of experience required in Surgery.
