We are seeking a dedicated and community-driven Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to join our well-established Addiction and Recovery Center, which has been serving our Southern Oregon community for over 50 years. This primarily administrative role includes clinical responsibilities alongside our Nurse Practitioner (NP) providers, with opportunities for training as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction for clinical operations and program development.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including NPs, RNs, and LPNs.
  • Ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to best practices in mental health and substance abuse treatment.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance clinical operations.
  • Engage with the community to promote addiction recovery and mental health initiatives.
  • Participate in training and mentoring of clinical staff.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with a valid medical license in Oregon.
  • Experience in mental health and substance abuse disorders is preferred but not required.
  • All specialties are welcome to apply; no prior CMO experience is necessary.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Commitment to community engagement and patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
