Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and implementation of a strategic vision for the department.
- Support transformation and oversee the construction of new state-of-the-art facilities.
- Ensure the provision of exceptional care residents as part of the patient care team.
- Ensure adequate department physician coverage schedule and arrange for appropriate time for medical resident participation.
- Encourage the creation and establishment of quality improvement and risk management programs for the department.
- MD or DO degree
- Valid NYS medical license
- Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology
- 3+ years of administrative /leadership experience required
- Proven track record of successful leadership, administrative skills and academic achievement
