Looking for an Addiction Medicine Physician (Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or similar) for a remote opportunity for a facility in Oregon.

RESPONSIBILIITES:

  • Provides addiction specialty care and inpatient addiction medicine consultation services.
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients with substance use disorders, develop personalized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments to evaluate addiction severity, medical history, and co-occurring conditions
  • Develop personalized treatment plans, providing counseling and education to patients and their families regarding addiction, recovery, and harm reduction, collaborate with other healthcare professionals to address holistic patient needs, and Prescribe medications (e.g., buprenorphine, naloxone) for opioid use disorder and manage medication-assisted treatment.

  • Hours: Mon-Fri 8a to 4:30p (may be flexible on exact hours)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid OR license
  • DEA
  • 2 years of experience in addiction medicine.

  • ADM Board Certified - OR
  • Board Certified FP/IMs with addiction medicine experience
