IT Support Specialist: Must have experience working with EMR systems like Epic or NextGen.

Job Summary:

The IT Support Specialist I provides frontline technical support, assisting end-users with hardware, software, and connectivity issues. This role involves participating in IT projects, deploying and configuring devices, and managing helpdesk requests. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating system support, server environments, and application troubleshooting, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. Must have experience working with EMR systems like Epic or NextGen.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and resolve Level 1 technical issues via helpdesk, phone, or remote access.

Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and printers.

Assist with user onboarding, including account setup and hardware provisioning.

Provide support for Microsoft Outlook within Office365 and troubleshoot various software applications.

Ensure workstation security through regular updates and patch management.

Document support processes and maintain accurate records.

Collaborate with external vendors for hardware repairs and liaise with internal teams for complex issues.

Qualifications:

Required Experience: 2+ years in IT support, including Microsoft Windows 10, Active Directory, and server environments. Familiarity with helpdesk software like SolarWinds ServiceDesk.

Preferred Skills: Knowledge of networking, security protocols, PC hardware, and EHR systems like Epic or NextGen. Certifications (MCITP, A+, Network+) are advantageous.

soft Skills: Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements:

Availability to work beyond normal business hours, including weekends.

Willingness to travel to alternate business sites as needed.

Pay Range: $25 - $34/hour Monday- Friday 8:30am-5pm
