Addiction Medicine opening in New York - Located in Rochester, NY - Part-time, permanent position Qualifications and Responsibilities: - Conduct initial and follow up assessments for patients dealing with substance use disorder (SUD). - Develop individualized treatment options for patients in our outpatient program. - Provide Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) including Buprenorphine/Naloxone, Naltrexone, and other ancillary medications. - Work in a multidisciplinary team of nurses and therapists to reach the patients treatment goals. - Provide physician input and leadership in one of our outpatient clinics in Monroe County. - Provide care in accordance with the NYS Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) regulations. - Have an unrestricted License to Practice Medicine (MD/DO) in the State of New York. - Have a DEA license. - BE/BC in Addiction Medicine by ABPM is preferred.
