JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking an Addiction Medicine physician for the Huntsville Stevenson regional area for a 35 - 40 hour a week, The Medical Director oversees two clinics in the Mobile area roughly 20 miles apart. This is an hourly position, pay rate up to $165 - $200 hourly but negotiable, additional bonuses are available.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maximizing the clinical and financial performance
  • Supervising the daily operations of an opiate treatment program
  • Ensuring operational efficiency
  • Responsible for the resolution of urgent and emergent issues regarding the treatment center before, during and after regular office hour
  • Managing treatment center revenue collections to achieve target collection rates and for managing expenditures in accordance with budgeted allowances

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements
-Must be licensed to practice medicine or osteopathy in Alabama,
-Three years of documented experience in the provision of service to persons who are addicted to alcohol or other drugs, and one year of experience in treatment of opioid.
-BE or BC and two years of documented experience in the treatment of persons who are addicted to alcohol or other drugs
-ASAM or BC as an addiction medicine specialist

Qualifications

Alabama Medical License
Board Eligible or Certified in Addiction Medicine
Preferably Fellowship Trained - Addiction Medicine

Working Hours

35-40 a week
Monday through Friday Days
