GERIATRICIAN (INTERNAL OR FAMILY MEDICINE PHYSICIAN)
Details:
- Full scope Geriatrics and primary care (workload may initially be more primary care as the geriatrics practice builds), including comfort in complex disease management of the elderly
- Site will include co-location with Dentistry, Endocrinology, Behavioral Health, Podiatry, Optometry, and Diabetes Nurse Education
- Weekday telephone call up to 5 weeknights a month for primary care, weekend call approximately 1 in every 6 weekends for primary care, and holiday call once a year
- Strong collaboration with Physician Assistants and Advance Practice Registered Nurses
- Teaching and research opportunities through affiliated academic partners, including academic title and resources
- Opportunity for leadership and performance improvement project involvement
- Documentation in eClinical Works electronic health record
- Billing submission at the time of office visit is expected
- Team based care of two (2) Providers, four (4) Medical Assistants, one (1) nurse, one (1) care coordinator, and one (1) behavioral health worker
