Academic Primary Care Physician - Co-Clerkship Director Position Summary:

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a full-time Physician for the role of co-clerkship director for the Internal Medicine Clerkship associated with the Frank H. Netter School of Medicine and clinical educator for an academic primary care clinic in the Bridgeport, CT, attractively located in Fairfield County.

Academic Primary Care - Co-Clerkship Director Position Details:

  • Role: Clinical Educator for our Internal Medicine Residency Program’s Academic Outpatient Clinic and Co-Clerkship Director for the Internal Medicine Clerkship for 3rd year medical students
  • Location: Bridgeport, CT
  • Setting: 75% office-based, academic, outpatient Primary Care; 25% administrative role as co-clerkship director for the Netter School of Medicine
  • Schedule: Full-time, weekdays
  • Phone Call Only: as needed back up for Internal Medicine Residents
  • Base salary: $240,000+, Incentive Plan
  • Other compensation: Loan repayment support, Sign-on bonus, Relocation stipend

Qualifications

Requirements:
Unrestricted State of Connecticut medical license (or eligible)
BC/BE Internal Medicine
Preferred:
Resident or medical student teaching experience
At least 1 year of post-training primary care experience or chief resident

Working Hours

Schedule:  Full-time, weekdays (includes dedicated academic time)
Phone Call Only:  as needed back up for Internal Medicine Residents
