Position Overview
Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, located in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, is seeking an energetic and dedicated physician to join its Internal Medicine Residency Program as Core Faculty. This university-affiliated, community-based program operates within the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Pittsburgh and Harrisburg. With a team of 25 residents and a diverse mix of attending physicians and trainees, the program offers a dynamic and engaging environment for medical education.

Key Responsibilities

• Outpatient and Inpatient Care:
  • Primarily focused on outpatient clinic responsibilities.
  • Approximately 7-10 inpatient call/rounding days per month.
• Resident Education:
  • Serve as teaching academic faculty, dedicating the majority of time to resident training and mentorship.
  • Opportunities for teaching appointments at sponsoring medical colleges.
• Academic Contributions:
  • Participate in research and publication efforts (preferred but not required).
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the program's academic reputation.
