Audiologist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient care through effective testing procedures and strategies for audiological evaluations and rehabilitation programs. This role involves performing comprehensive hearing assessments, developing and implementing habilitation/rehabilitation programs, and providing patient and family education.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Audiological Evaluation
- Conduct thorough evaluations of hearing using pure tone air and bone conduction audiometry, speech audiometry, impedance testing, and OAEs.
- Identify and analyze unusual or complex etiologies based on assessment results.

Testing Procedures and Strategies
- Select and implement the most effective testing procedures and strategies for each patient.
- Utilize data from assessments to guide the development of habilitation and rehabilitation programs.

Patient Care and Device Management
- Predict and assess potential benefits of hearing aids for patients.
- Select, fit, and adjust hearing aids and other assistive devices to meet individual patient needs.
- Perform repairs and modifications on hearing devices to improve function and fit.
- Maintain and update patient records, including documentation of follow-ups and care programs.

Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare comprehensive reports detailing diagnostic findings and progress achieved.
- Document patient follow-ups, care programs, and data collection related to clinical services.

Education and Counseling
- Provide basic education to patients and families about test results, hearing loss effects, and the use of hearing aids and other assistive devices.
- Offer guidance on managing hearing loss and maximizing the benefits of hearing technologies.

SKILLS
- Strong diagnostic and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide patient-centered care and education.
- Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting hearing devices.
- Previous vestibular experience preferred.
