JOB DESCRIPTION:
Medical center in Ohio is seeking an academic-minded OBGYN faculty physician with a passion for teaching the next generation of physician learners. Competitive compensation along with amazing benefits package offered.
Duties include participation in education/supervision of medical students/residents in various settings including inpatient work, Labor & Delivery, OR and outpatient clinic sites, and participation in direct patient care activities. Additional time will be made available to conduct research & administrative activities.
As a member of the Department, faculty members have opportunities to work alongside colleagues who are deeply engaged in local, regional, and national initiatives to address issues of access to medicine and healthcare.
Preferred Professional history and interest/ability in any of the following:
• Research, publications, and grant submissions
• Clinical trials / translational research
• Quality improvement initiatives
• Academic or clinical leadership
• UME/GME efforts curriculum development, course direction, simulation center instruction, etc.
• Direct supervision of resident learners within inpatient and outpatient settings
• Community outreach and collaboration
• Ability to serve as a model for excellence in research and clinical care
