The Department of Family Medicine at The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine physician to join their medical student education team. The clinician-educator will serve a unique role by participating in the academic activities of the department while providing comprehensive primary care in the community. The ideal candidate will be a patient-centered, compassionate team player with a desire to support the growth of medical students into accomplished healers.
The mission of the Department of Family Medicine is to train high quality family physicians while providing excellent patient care and building new knowledge in family medicine. The department is heavily involved in the education of medical students during all four years of their training and has a significant presence in the Dean’s Office. As an MUSC faculty member, you will have access to a multi-disciplinary team of professionals, advanced technologies, and direct support from our clinical centers of excellence.
