Job Description
The University of Missouri Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and the University of Missouri Health Care (UMHC) is seeking an Academic Heart Failure Specialist to work in the heart failure/cardiomyopathy program. Faculty track (tenure or non-tenure) and academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and career goals.
The appropriately qualified candidate will also have the opportunity to 1) perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac imaging studies, including echocardiography, cardiac MRI, and cardiac CT angiography, 2) participate in clinical and translational research programs within the School of Medicine and across campus, including in the fields of Public Health, Veterinary Medicine, and Biomedical Engineering.
Qualifications
- MD/DO
- ABIM BC/BE in Internal Medicine
- ABIM BC/BE in Cardiovascular Disease or equivalent certification.
- ABIM BC/BE in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology
