The University of Missouri’s School of Medicine,Department of Ophthalmology, is searching for a fellowship-trained pediatric ophthalmologist to join our team.

About MU Ophthalmology

Eye care services provided include refractive surgery, cataract surgery, macular degeneration, retinal disease, corneal transplantation, glaucoma, ocular oncology, neuro-ophthalmology, plastic surgery, children’s eye care, low vision, trauma and treatment for many types of eye disease. Our faculty and staff feel privileged to care for Missourians and are committed to being a center of excellence for ophthalmology in the Midwest.

In addition to treating more than 30,000 patients per year, our faculty and students conduct ground-breaking research in both the basic and clinical sciences. Research laboratories and support facilities span the entire second floor of the Mason Eye Institute with additional space located across the street at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans' Hospital. Research interests within the department are diverse and cover a wide range of ophthalmologic problems.

Qualifications

  • MD/DO
  • Candidate must be board certified/board eligible ophthalmologist with required training in pediatric ophthalmology.
  • For the purposes of this application, board-certified/board-eligible physicians are considered experienced.
