DESCRIPTION
We seek a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our busy neurology practice in Edina, MN. Responsibilities will be to perform physical exam (new and rechecks), coordinate patient care, manage prescriptions and provide patient/family education. This position will provide services to general neurology patients with a special focus on stroke prevention and stroke recovery through medical therapy and a holistic approach to improve overall health.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Masters degree from Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program with certification and current license required. Experience with neurology, cardiology or internal medicine highly desired along with an interest in holistic health and wellness. Must possess excellent clinical skills and be able to function with a high level of autonomy. Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented; and possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with electronic health record required (Epic preferred).
