A physician-owned private urology practice in the Jacksonville, FL area is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their esteemed team. Candidates must have some prior experience in urology such as relevant clinical experience or a clinical rotation in urology to be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct outpatient consultations, evaluations, and follow-up visits for urology patients.
• Assist in performing urological procedures and surgeries under the supervision of the urologist.
• Provide comprehensive patient education and counseling on urological conditions, treatments, and preventative measures.
• Collaborate closely with the urologist and healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Participate in hospital rounding and provide support for inpatient consultations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Current certification and licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of Florida or ability to obtain
• Experience working in urology or a related field is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-based environment.
