Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

A growing healthcare organization is currently seeking three (3) experienced Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs) to provide urgent care services across multiple locations. This role offers a flexible schedule with opportunities to support new and existing standalone urgent care facilities.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Flexible, must be available for at least three (3) shifts per week, including weekends
• Shift Length:
  • Weekdays: 12-hour shifts
  • Weekends: 8-hour shifts
• Setting: Standalone urgent care facilities
• Patient Load: 30-35 patients per shift
• Support Staff: Rad Tech, LPN, and MA on-site at each location
• On-Call: No
• Travel: Must be willing to work across multiple locations

Responsibilities:

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) will be responsible for:

• Delivering urgent care services to a diverse patient population
• Performing basic urgent care procedures independently
• Providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborating with on-site clinical teams to ensure smooth operations
• Adapting to different urgent care locations based on patient and staffing needs

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in an urgent care setting
• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license
• Strong ability to work independently in a standalone facility
• Experience managing high patient volumes efficiently
• Proficiency in performing common urgent care procedures
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
