NP/PA Urgent Care opening in Colorado

Currently seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join its healthcare team under the direction of Colorado Mountain Physicians. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care in a state-of-the-art 56-bed hospital set in the beautiful Vail mountain area.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct patient assessments, take medical histories, examine and treat patients, order and interpret lab tests and x-rays, and make diagnoses.
Manage minor injuries and musculoskeletal issues and prescribe appropriate medications.
Maintain detailed, accurate medical records to support billing and healthcare documentation.
Perform non-patient facing duties such as handling patient messages, e-prescriptions, document review, and lab result management.
Serve as a role model in alignment with Vail Healths Just Culture and organizational values.
Qualifications:
Experience: At least two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant in a related area is preferred.
Licensure: Must meet licensure and certification requirements as specified in the employment contract, with credentialing by the Medical Staff Office.
Computer Skills: Competency in required computer skills within 90 days of employment, including online form access and benefits enrollment.
Language: Proficient in English for reading, writing, and communication.
